We are a very active Scout group, comprising of approximately 65 children (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts). We currently use a hall which is in desperate need of repair but in order to obtain funding to help us do this we need to secure a long lease on the building. In order to do this we need to have the building surveyed and the draft lease reviewed by a solicitor.

We are trying to raise money to pay for the surveyor and solicitors fees.

Without a building we have no place for our Scout group to complete a variety of exercises, learn important life skills and store essential camp equipment.

Our Scout group attracts children from a wide area, not just the village we are based in. Many of these children start in Beavers and continue through to Scouts. The group provides many opportunities within the actual group setting but gives all the children the opportunity to try out new activities such as map reading, archery, cooking to name a few, and also experience nights out under the stars on fantastic weekends away.

The children and adults would be devastated if the group had to dispand and we would be taking away friendships, life long skills and so much fun and support.

If you can spare a little to help us reach our goal, this would help us secure a Scouting legacy.
