Weʼre raising £4,000 to send special needs post 16 children on a visit to a special needs school in Belgium
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
My name is Colette Hawes, I’m seventeen years old and have autism. I attend Alderman Knight special school post 16. In October students from Lodewijk special school in Belgium visited us, we are due to return the visit in April. We are all very excited about travelling on the Euro-tunnel and visiting a foreign country.
Our school were to fund the trip with a grant they had applied for but unfortunately this may not now be possible, so the students have decided to try to raise the £4000 necessary so the trip can go ahead but we don’t have much time.
