The main members of our church congregation are elderly, and although they give generously, there simply isn't enough money in the church budget to allow us to decorate the room we use for our youth.

To make matters worse, the room is stuck in a 70s timewarp with yellow walls and blue curtains and a brown carpet. We'd love to be able to paint it, put some art work on the walls, and make it into a space for the youth to hang out and relax.

The room we plan on using is multi purpose, it's used by the toddler group to store buggies, and as a room for bible study. But as the youth group grows, we want them to have a space that on a Saturday night is purely their own as opposed to the room we currently use that we share with the weekly lunch club, which means when we arrive on a Saturday night, half the room is laid out with cutlery and napkins and we don't get to choose where we go.
