£10raised of £10,000 target by 1 supporter

Weʼre raising £10,000 to help the father of Conjoined twins from Senegal who gave up everything he has to move them to the UK for treatment.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

I read the story about this family on BBC News (25/01/3019) and I can’t imagine the struggle this poor family have been through. The father Ibrahima Ndiaye has given up everything to move to the UK to seek treatment to possibly separate these beautiful girls but the chance of both twins surviving is minimal. Who knows how long they will survive, but how great would it be to be able to provide some financial support so their father can make the most of any time he has with them without the financial burden and worry.

A little about me, I have been serving in the Royal Navy for 16 years, which hopefully gives credit to my trustworthiness and reliability. I am a single full time working mom to a 1 year old boy. Since returning to work from maternity, I have realised the financial struggles of bringing up children alone, and this is why this story hit me hard. This man is doing all he can for these girls single handedly. It is hard enough with any child, never mind conjoined twins.

I look back at my years of no responsibility where I blew money on unnessesary items and the thought of it sickens me when I think of the good I could have done. I have very little spare cash at the moment but what I do have, I would happily give to this family to help. Please find it in your hearts to do the same 💗 Every penny raised will go to support the family. I will provide picture evidence that he has received it.
