From last month I have been working in Greece with Norwiegen refugee aid organisation A Drop In The Ocean. So far the emotional journey has been indescribably hard work but I am happy to say that I have enjoyed working with an organisation of dynamic volunteers who's care and compassion for this crisis and its people genuinely shines through.

Previously together we raised an unbelievable £1380 and I can tell you that as I have been working every penny of that has been going to people living in extreme need.

As it turns out JustGiving just give 30 days to fundraise and because of this and the still great amount of support here's my new page, another portal for you guys to help out during the greatest refugee crisis as I work here on the ground.

As ever this project is being entirely funded by me. I have been volunteering my time as well as paying for flights, food, accommodation and other costs. Every penny and or cent has been and will always go direct to refugees.

Drop In The Ocean work alongside UNHCR and The Red Cross amongst others and directly assists people in the most extreme need to live a life away from war, retribution and fear. Please check out their rescue, food distribution, medical aid and education work below.

I have already spent time working in Sounio camp a few hours south of Athens and I am now based in Northern Greece working within two camps of two thousand people living on the cold, wet and windy Macedonian border .

As you may well know I have some personal experience with humanitarian organisations around the world, here I have been putting this experience and energy to use in a wide range of duties once again.

I know that your donation may not be easy to raise but be assured the work achieved from any amount no matter how large or small will help in ways that are so essential.
