Story
For the month of June, I plan on travelling to Thailand amongst a group of 20 people from Stirling University.
We will be working in an elephant sanctuary that cares for neglected, abused and disabled elephants. Some of the elephants have been used as working animals, circus performers, or even for street begging. We are given the opportunity to help clean, feed and swim with the elephants, aiding in everything necessary for their well-being.
After that we will be travelling to a remote hill-tribe where we will be teaching English to children and adults alike within the community, assisting with construction and helping with daily duties such as working in the fields to pick food for the tribe members and animals.
Every single bit counts and will be put to an absolutely amazing cause! I know it's a very expensive time for everyone but literally every penny is appreciated. Thank you so much!
