In 2016 our local neighbourhood in Brixton created a community cookbook made up of recipes from local residents.

Now in 2020, with the threat of COVID-19 all around us, we again wanted to create a cookbook to recognise the ordinary lives existing through these extraordinary times. We are asking locals and others to supply their favourite recipes that they have been cooking for themselves, their loved ones and neighbours whilst in lockdown.

The message we want to spread is the importance of community, and through this campaign we want to raise funds for Age UK Lambeth so they can continue to provide friendship calls and support the Hospital to Home project to ensure homes are safe and fit for habitation; and their My Social project, providing online & phone social support, and events.

We need your help. 50% of your donations will go to the printer in order to get the book produced, the rest will be going straight to Age UK Lambeth. We need at least £2,500, but the more, the better, so we can take this idea beyond our local community. Please give generously, you really will be making a difference.
