In September 2016 I took part in a week-long selection course on the Isle of Coll with Project Trust, an educational charity which sends school leavers abroad to volunteer for 8-12 months. In August 2017 I will be leaving for Senegal to teach English as part of a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) course.

Being able to speak English in countries like Senegal represents an invaluable opportunity to help build people's futures, and so by learning it from a native English speaker, the people I will be teaching will have access to a broad knowledge and understanding of the language.

In order to participate in this amazing experience, I need to raise £6,200 pounds before July 2017. This goes towards my flights, insurance, accomodation and support whilst I'm overseas. In order to do this, I will hold various fundraising events throughout the year, and any donations would be greatly appreciated!
