£60raised of £11,240 target by 3 supporters

Weʼre raising £11,240 to Help extend the life of Military Working dogs after they have finished in their careers.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

Every year military working dogs, who have given up the best part of their lives to serve in whatever capacity best suited them, are put down due to the lack of funds and time the military have too acclimatise and resettle them into a forever home and a civilian life.

This issue is recognised by the MOD and the Secretary of State has stated that these animals provide an invaluable service and that every effort should be made to rehome all military dogs at the end of their service lives.

My idea is to take the dogs at the end of both their careers and having been through the military’s three-month resettlement. At the point that the dogs might be euthanised Courageous K9’s would step in and take the dog on, giving the dog time to find their forever home.

Defo a good cause. These digs put themselves in harms way. They deserve to retire like the rest of us.
