VANDALS have left our football club "heartbroken" after damaging equipment and facilities that support mens, womens and over one hundred girl footballers.

The incident at Belle Vue on Wednesday night resulted in significant damage to the ground's first aid, equipment and first aid rooms as well as toilet facilities and some external structure of the ground itself.

CPD Y Rhyl 1879, which plays at the ground, said it was "hugely disappointed" and would be hard for its volunteers to face as following the recent positivity and progress our club has been making both on and off the pitch, we are hugely disappointed that some members of our local community broke in to TRASH our community football ground.

This is so hard to see and deal with when lots of fantastic people put in all of their spare hours in voluntarily to then deal with this.
