    Story

I was diagnosed with an aggressive strain of a rare form of cancer in February 2017. After months of mis-diagnosis from my GP and local hospital doctors I was finally referred to the Christie.

I am looking to raise money for pioneering Immunotherapy treatment in Europe to help me fight this cancer as all Immunotherapy treatment for my cancer has not been authorised under NICE in the UK.

Unfortunately there is little research done on this style of cancer in the UK and therefore treatment is centred around surgery and piggybacking on radiotherapy/chemotherapy that is used on other cancers.

If my cancer spreads to a distant organ, then there is little that can be done, however at my current stage of disease there are options available, however none of these are available on the NHS. The NHS can only provide me with options of further surgery and chemotherapy.

I do not want to leave my family, wife and 4 year old daughter due to cancer that is overlooked by the large research bodies just because it is rare and as such little funding is put into it.

The treatment that I am looking to have will also provide vital information into future research that could benefit hundreds of men in the UK, as well as hopefully giving me some extra precious years with my little girl.

Please fund raise to help me receive this treatment.

    Thank you. Craig

Hi all... Thank you all for you ongoing support and kind donations. The love and support Nicola and I are getting is overwhelming. Just a quick update. Out of the funds I paid for a test that looks at genetic mutations on my tumour and have been fortunate enough from this to get onto a clinical trial. I could not have got on this trial without the donations. I am still aiming to get to Germany as the trial I am on is aiming to stop spread and growth, but will hopefully work and buy me more time. Lots of love. Craig, Nicola & Abigail
