Weʼre raising £2,019 to running at least 2019 miles in 2019 with the funds to be split amongst a few local charities including positive bones, Craig’s Heartstrong.

Ive been so inspired by a particular running friend who ran every day in 2018 and seeing her deal with the ups and downs that i have decided to set myself a challenge and try my best to see it through.
It was my intention to run every day in 2019 however having experienced muscle twinges trying to build up to it ive decided instead to set a distance goal to allow myself recovery time and cross training days And not to feel guilty about fitting in the odd rest day 🤗
it is my intention to run the year i.e. 2019 miles however my ultimate goal would be running 2500 miles between 01/01/19 and 31/12/19.
I plan to split any donations between positive bones and craigs heartstrong and depending on how well i do with donations i may consider other local iom charities as well. (If any representatives from local charities wish to liaise with me and advertise my campaign then please contact me)
wishing everybody a happy and healthy 2019 😀

I started running about 2 years ago as part of a challenge with some friends to complete race the sun. Since then I’ve caught the bug big time and have since competed in many local events and the Great Manchester half marathon in 2017. Looking forward to my next challenge 🤗
