    Story

    CRANTOCK BALE PUSH 2016
This year our main organisations are Help Izzy Walk, Cornwall Hospice Care and Motor Neurone Disease Association [Cornwall]. This year the Bale Push is supporting Cornish Hospice Care, the leading independent Cornish charity providing specialist care free of charge to patients with life limiting illnesses, aged 18 or over. Nursing teams provide care at two hospices. Mount Edgcumbe Hospice in St Austell and St Julia's Hospice in Hayle, also in Cornwall's hospitals, care homes and in the community. Crantock Bale Push is supporting this charity in memory of our very own Father Morley.
We are also supporting Motor Neurone Disease (Cornwall Branch) which has the sole aim of serving all those in the county who are affected by MND, their careers, families and friends. MND is an incurable condition that paralyses the muscles leaving people unable to cope with everyday things, like walking, talking and swallowing which may become virtually impossible, while the mind and senses remain intact.
Crantock Bale Push also aims to assist Help Izzy Walk. Izzy is a beautiful bright 6 year old suffering from Cerebral Palsy Spastic Diplegia (Spasticity). She needs a life changing complex spinal operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR), which although not a cure for Cerebral Palsy, will give Izzy the chance to improve her range of movements and give her the opportunity to walk. This operation could potentially mean the difference between Izzy walking and her being in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. Her family want to give her the best chance to be able to run around with her identical twin sister Gabby, and do the things we all take for granted.
We will also be making donations to our usual local organisations.
To our friends far and wide you can now make a donation via our Bale Push Crowdfunding page and we will do the rest.

        What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

        CRANTOCK BALE PUSH

        Crantock, United Kingdom

In 2000 the Bale Push came from the seed of an idea. The seed was sown and the idea harvested, baled and 3 weeks later the BIG BALE PUSH 2000 was organised. Crantock had a new annual local fundraising event and the rest is history! Our event has been copied but never bettered!
