Story
On the first day of the school summer holidays (Saturday 7th July) I am leaving to spend four weeks living and working in a rural Rwandan community, supporting local teachers. It is an amazing opportunity, not to mention that it is something I've wanted to do for a long time, but it will be challenging!
I will return with a deeper understanding of global citizenship and a wealth of experiences to share with pupils, colleagues and friends.
This is project is coordinated by Global Learning Partnerships and as part of my commitment I need to raise £1500. In the lead up to my departure I will be organising activities within the school and my local community to raise funds towards this cause. However any additional support or donations would be most welcome. Thank you!
