    Story

    HELP US HELP JOLI

Our dear Joli had a severe surgery. Her intestine burst and had 3 holes. This part of her intestine had to be removed. A lot of dirt was released in her body because of the holes, giving her a severe internal infection.
The financial picture attached to this was high, very high. Joli needs further care in the animal hospital.
We are not used to asking help and this is not easy for us, but we refuse to let a young dog go because of financial reasons. Everyone that ever met Joli knows how amazing she is.
She is still very strong and with medical help she will recover.
    Thank you for reading this

Joli is home. We are so happy, slowly she is becoming her crazy self again. She needs a lot of rest and medication but she doesn't agree with the part where she has to rest. HAHA. During those weeks she was sick she would not eat one bite, didn't even want to go for a walk. Now she eats and brings her ball whenever you go outside. A bit more therapy and she will fully be herself. We need to be tough though... the surgery was rough and she has a huge scar as proof. Thanks to all for the support! We are almost there

Today the hospital called to tell us they will stop the IV. If our pretty girl, Joli, reacts well to this, she will be allowed to go home. So send some positive energy :D (does a little joy dance)

A visit with my parents, they were very happy to see her and she reacted well to them. Joli was a bit weak because they removed the drain. But this is good news and another step to recovery. She still needs to stay in the IC and constantly monitered but step by step we will get there...
