That doesn't make CVS any less life-changing to the millions of sufferers around the world who, due to repeated episodes of debilitating sickness, find employment very difficult. The lack of understanding often leads to misdiagnosis and poor treatment in hospital.

At CVS Research we intend to offer sufferers, their carers, and medical staff a better understanding on our website cvsresearch.org.uk by researching into all the different facets of this issue and collating all the information in one place. Topics include diagnosis, treatment, and hopefully ways to stop episodes from starting, together with stories and a freely available database built up from patients' own experiences. Although based in the UK the results of the research will apply worldwide.

Funding is needed to maintain the website and enable the copious amount of research required. The more we raise the greater the extent of the research and the more we can help those that need it. Any donation, no matter how small, will help our cause.
