What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

The members of the Royal Marine Boarding Team on HMS Duncan are completing a 48hr challenge, coinciding with the anniversary of D-Day, to raise money for the charity Reorg. Reorg works with veterans suffering from mental and physical wounds.

As a team we will follow the journey of 47 Commando in 1944.

47 rope climbs as a 'buy in'.
Run from Dorchester to Portsmouth.
Row from Portsmouth to Normandy.
142 firemen carries to symbolise the men 47 CDO lost on the first two days in France.
Finally, cycle from Normandy to Walcheren in the Netherlands.
