Story
I am swimming 10K in River Dart on 9th September 2017.
I am raising funds for Pimlico Puffins Swimming
Club where I have been volunteering for last 3 years.
Pimlico Puffins Swimming Club is a voluntary organisation run entirely by helpers. The club welcomes people with physical and learning disabilities who want to learn to swim, improve their swimming or simply to have fun and gain confidence in the water. As a swimming club run by volunteers, the club relies entirely on generous donations from supporters.

7 years agoAt the finish line. The swim went well apart from slight motion sickness. I really enjoyed the day, the atmosphere was great, everyone's super friendly. I did it in 2h26m.

7 years agoLast big training session done on Saturday morning in Stoke Newington Reservoir. 5km in 2h. This picture was taken after the swim, so serene once we are all out of the water. I am starting to enjoy this open water swimming business, apart from few casual, and mind you, accidental kicks from fellow swimmers. Less than 1 week left to the big event! Thank you once again to everyone who have contributed. Also, just wanted to let people know that we are always looking for swimming volunteers at Pimlico Puffins to help out on Monday nights.
