Jan 2023 update:

Dalal turns 3 at the beginning of March 2023 and she is due to receive some specialist treatment in America. The whole family are living together in Turkey - settling into their new life together. Dalal is a fighter and is learning how to do things even without hands - she is strong and independent. She has and is defeating the odds at all stages! As said before, she will need continuous ongoing medical care. The money raised here is being sent in small amounts monthly to support Dalal and the whole family with their living costs. If and when additional costs arise we also support them in that. I am astounded that people are still emailing and donating even now - I believe we can reach our target and thank you again for all your support.

Spring 2022 Update:

Dalal underwent major surgery earlier this year to work on her arms, legs, mouth and eyes. The hands will need more work, the hope is to flatten them so she can eventually have metal additions as fingers. The operation was a success and Dalal recovered quickly again reflecting her true fighter and strong spirit! We have a message from the family to all the British supporters: "To everyone who donated to our daughter Dalal, thank you very much. Thank God because of your help, Dalal now lives with her brothers in Turkey, after she was in a tent in the camps in Idlib. She is currently receiving treatment in Turkish hospitals. Dalal is growing up. She walks alone and relies on herself in her movement and food, despite the difficulty in doing so. Every day, Dalal changes for the better as a result of your help" - Dalal's family.
