I have always wanted to run in the London Marathon, but I have not made it out of the ballot yet. This year I thought I would apply for a charity place that confirms you a space in the race, Minimum you have to raise is £2,000 for me that doesn't mean charity, I thought charity was giving what you can afford to a cause that you want to help/improve or supporting someone. Which is why I decided to opt for something a bit different.

My aim or what I will attempt to do is to run 100 miles under 24hours and any money raised will be donated to The Grove School. The money can go towards new sports equipment (my first thought is an astroturf pitch that would be great for the school and town but it might be a bit too ambitious!!) Or some sport equipment and more opportunities for young people or take a vote on what the money could go towards, either way, I thought it would be nice to give it to something a bit more local and hopefully see something come out of it :)
