Jess is 4 years old and has global development delay, muscle hypotonia (decresed muscle tone) and epilepsy. She is an amazing little girl with a big personality always smiling and laughing and never lets her conditions get in the way of having fun. Its the hypotonia that effects jess’s speech, coordination and stability. Jess has come along way with alot of hard work and dermination, through excersise and CME therapy to get to where she is today. She has great understanding and knows that the next step for her is to stand on her own and take her first steps. She is continuosly practising this by pulling herself up to stand but cannot maintain the position for long, as her muscles just arent strong enough, resulting in her buckling and falling over. We have been researching ways on which to help Jess improve and have come across the ALDELI rehabilitation centre, based in Slovakia. The centre do incredible things for children and adults with various neurological disorders including jessica‘s conditions. The course offers a highly intensive, indivually customised therapy programme which can run up to four weeks however the course comes at a price. We are in need of help to raise £8,000. This will cover the cost of the therapy course, accomadation to stay in the clinic with jess and also flights.
