    Story

“It is with the heaviest heart that I have to say, that yesterday morning early hours Lisa was rushed into hospital. Unfortunately we lost Samuel who was stillborn at 7:40 am. Lisa is still in intensive care in an induced coma to try and help her heel but she’s stable. If you can’t get hold of us that’s the reason why.”

Words said by Dan Whatton on his facebook page letting all his friends and family know about the tragic event that has happened. His partner, Lisa, is still in hospital recovering after it all. She has no idea that she has lost her dear little boy Samuel.

Both Dan and Lisa are well known in the village of Ancaster and I think that if we all came together and have just a little bit to them, it could go a long way. I have even spoken to Dan since and he mentioned that once Lisa has fully recovered he will want to take her away on holiday. Just to have a break and get away from it, take some well deserved time off.

If we can raise just a fraction of this target, it can go towards the funeral of Samuel or even help pay for the holiday that Dan and Lisa deserve. Let’s see what we can do as a community. We want to spread this far and wide and surprise Dan and Lisa with what we’ve done.

It’s a secret as they have no idea. No idea how long we will have this running but lets see how we get on!

So it all goes to plan....next weekend I should be giving Dan the funds from this page next weekend. I can update you all nearer the time but I have to wait for funds to clear before I can withdraw it and get it all ready for him. I can’t thank you all enough for donating. The support has been incredible. I hope we can give Samuel the send off he deserves and give them a well deserved break from everything. Thank you again. X

I just want to raise as much as possible so we can surprise Dan and Lisa with funds that they can use in anyway possible. Wether they put it towards funeral costs or taking holiday away somewhere. Let’s show them that they’re not alone and supporting them all the way.
