Story

On April 27th, aged 40 (forty), I'm running my first ever marathon (Manchester).

This is a bit silly, so to make the pain worth it, I'm aiming to raise £2000 for much-needed new playground equipment for Sandilands School. Sandilands plays a crucial role at the centre of our community, here in Wythenshawe, and excitingly, will be opening its new building in June. However, the government funding does not stretch to making improvements to the outdoor space. And it's well overdue freshening up!

Many kids from Sandilands come from challenging backgrounds and the school itself does not have money in its budget that stretch to this kind of thing unlike other wealthier places nearby.

So I’ll be running with all my heart to give local kids the best opportunities possible, and hopefully not do too much damage to myself in the process. Please give what you can, it'll make a real difference!
