Scouting is appreciated all over the world for its incredible life skills and opportunities. One of those opportunities is World Scout Jamboree (WSJ). A WSJ is a spectacular event that symbolises peace, friendship and global alliance. It is a gathering of scouts, explorers and leaders from 216 different countries making up a global contingent of over 40000 scouts.Whilst there, I will be making friends and learning about different cultures. I will also be visiting New York or Washington, along with the possibility of also going to Canada to live with a local family. Over 140 scouts applied from Maidstone district for 10 places.It is an exciting honor to be selected. When I return I will continue to support scouting and keep in touch with all the amazing people I will meet on my expedition.
