Story
My Name is Daniel Mckerlich. I'm 18 years old and want to become an INAS World medalist in Brisbane Australia October 2019.
I Have a once in a lifetime opportunity to go out to Australia to compete for my country, unfortunately it is self funded.
I have always loved sport. In athletics I have won county and welsh vests. In athletics I have gained regional, county and national medals. This year I became the 2nd best Under 20 race walker in Wales and 4th in Britain for the 10km road Race walk. Over the next year I will continue doing Race walking up to 10km.
In January of last year I started the process of getting classified as a T20 which is for people with learning difficulties. I had to undergo various tests. These tests included an IQ test and an adaptive behavior report. When these tests were completed I was able to send off the paper work to UK sports association for people with learning difficulties.
I know its a bit early but I am trying to get the funding before the selection date which is in March. I would be grateful for your kind support.
