My father Geraint 'Gonzo' fell ill suddenly in November 2017 and was diagnosed with Legionnaires Disease. He was put in a induced coma for weeks and woke up on christmas morning. He got better by the day and was enjoying his company from family and friends. But after a few weeks he deterioated overnight and sadly passed away on January 15th 2018.
We are raising money for the cybi ward/intensive care unit in Ysbyty Gwynedd as a thank you for the care and support my dad received and also for us as a family for the whole 70 days he was there, they made us feel at ease and we were always informed of everything. We couldnt thank them enough for what they did for my father and we are very greatful!
