Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
On the 20th of may 2018 I will be taking part in the BHGE 10K running festival in aid of St. Andrews First Aid.
St. Andrews First Aid consists of:
1171 Adult Volunteers
350+ Youth Volunteers
and in 2016/2017:
66733 hours were volunteered at 1874 events up and down the country.
First Aid Delivered With Confidence
In a crisis it’s vital that first aid is delivered with confidence. We provide Scotland with the highest standards in first aid skills, services, and volunteering opportunities.
Together we can save lives.
“To provide everyone in Scotland with the highest standards in first aid skills, services and volunteering opportunities”
We aim to achieve this through:
We provide first aid training to members of the public and educate people in first aid skills via our Community education programme, talks and demos/OHCA campaign in support of the Scottish government’s ongoing “Save a Life” campaign.
We provide first aid cover wherever it is needed, from local community events to music festivals, SPL and SFL football matches and international sporting fixtures.
We provide opportunities for young people to get involved through our Youth Programmes, as well as providing training and support to other youth schemes such as the Duke of Edinburgh Awards and the SYFA.
Through our Supplies Department we provide first aid kits and consumables, training equipment, signage and publications.
