I am running the London Marathon on April 22nd in support of two loved family members.

I will be supporting my nan Nellie who has dementia and my cousin Vicki who had a severe gym accident leaving her paralysed from the waist down.

Any kind donations will be split between causes for my nan and Vicki.

Half the money will be donated to an elderly day care centre (Kershaw Centre, St Helens) which my nan attended and who have supported her and others like her for a long time. The staff there do a fantastic job and provide respite for the service users and their loved ones.

The other half will be donated to Vicki's fund, set up for Vicki by her family to support her in adapting to her new life. Vicki has adapted brilliantly to her new situation and is a credit to herself and her family.
