My Grandad has started growing his beard back in October 2016 in order to raise money for the Pulmonary Oncology unit (part of Wythenshawe hospital) and Cecilia Centre the day case unit specifically for lung cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
We lost my nanna after a long fight with lung cancer yet we couldn't fault the work and compassion provided by the Cecilia Centre and Pulmonary Oncology Unit . They work in conjunction with Macmillan and provide specialist care to patients suffering from lung cancer.
My grandad is going to continue to grow his beard until 1st January 2018 and we would love to raise at least £300 to give to this great cause.
