This is Zosia, the sweet little daughter of Anna’s university friend. Zosia was born in the same year as our son Jozef with the same dark brown eyes and the same cheeky smile. Unfortunately, whilst Zosia was still in her Mum’s tummy, she suffered neurological damage leading to a severe illness called arthrogryposis, the curving of her joints. Zosia is very bravely enduring multiple surgeries and painful rehabilitation, which is only available in a specialist clinic in Germany. Zosia’s parents, absolute real life superheroes, cope amazingly well carrying for their daughter but struggle to cover the mounting hospital costs.

Zosia is attending a special needs kindergarten, and is very bubbly, and always looking to have fun, loves music and eating!. Much can be improved in Zosias life through rehabilitation. Currently Zosia does not have use of her hands and is reliant on her mum and dad to assist, with rehabilitation she would be able to use her hands and become more independent. In time the hope would be for her also to walk independently but at the moment she relies on a wheelchair. Its all this rehabilitation that we are hoping to raise money for.

I am going to try and help Zosia by cycling the Dragon ride which is a 1 day event in the Brecon Beacons, and attempting the "Devil route" which is 305km (189 miles), and includes 12,500 feet of climbs. Your support would be massively appreciated by all involved, and especially Zosia and her family.
