Meet Lola the Collie who is 1 years old and loves to play ball, jump up and down, and give you lots of cuddles.

Our Mum has been struggling with her mental health for many years now, diagnosed with CPTSD, Mum can often find herself in really low places and we as a family can often feel helpless. Apart from being there for our Mum, there is often not much we can do to prevent Mum from feeling so low, and prevent hospital admissions. We recently came across a charity in Nottingham who can train Lola our dog to support our Mum with her mental health. Have a read of their website here .

Each client's dog is trained specifically for them, to give them increased confidence, comfort and companionship. Some of the things Lola can be trained to do are: Alerting Mum to the presence of other people , Safety checking a room , During nightmares, she can turn-on the lights and wake the owner up, she can be trained to calm the owner down or to take the owner home when stressed/anxious/confused.

We really believe Lola could help Mum and after speaking with Darwin Dogs, we now need to raise £3500 to complete Lola's training.

We are going to do a number of things to raise money, such as Cake Sales, Charity runs, and much more. Anything extra we make, we will donate back to the charity to train more dogs!
