The Tom Bowdidge Foundation is a charitable foundation, founded on 28th February 2014 in memory of Tom Bowdidge. Tom died of a desmoplastic small round cell tumour and extensive peritoneal disease in October 2013, at the age of 19. The Tom Bowdidge Foundation was founded and launched by Tom's parents, Richard and Nikki, on what would have been Tom's 20th birthday. The Foundation is headquartered in Colchester and its aim is to fund projects that support teenage cancer sufferers and their families. The Foundation works on projects that provide clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to help these teenagers and young people cope with their cancer diagnosis. With your support The Tom Bowdidge Foundation is currently funding a major research project into teenage cancers with specific reference to sarcoma research.
