Norwich Rowing Club is a fast growing community based club with both able bodied and disabled members aged between 14 - 80+. Abilities range from Learn 2 row to elite. Rowing is a non-traumatic sport that can be enjoyed as a racing or recreational sport throughout your life.

Members include a successful Junior section as well as a fast growing 'return to sport' group that is bringing a new dimension to our club. Senior and Masters groups are also very active at local and national levels.

Rowing has huge community and personal benefits. Apart from creating fitness, it improves confidence in a brilliant environment of friendship and teamwork.

NRC membership numbers have increased as has the number of crews using the river & racing in the annual Carrow Cup and Norwich Head of the River.

Safety and coaching is vital. Our current launches are not really fit for purpose and need improvement. A new launch is urgently required to raise standards and improve safety.

It is now very important to have a fast, modern and reliable launch that can cope without creating too much wash.
