Story
Next Sunday I'm taking part in a sponsored bike ride from Hessle to Scunthorpe and back, a over 40 miles. The money will go to the memory boxes set up by Nurses for ladies who have suffered miscarriages at Hulls women and children's hospital.
The money will go to the memory boxes set up by Nurses for ladies who have suffered miscarriages at Hulls women and children's hospital. The forget me not fund was set up by Staff Nurse Hayley Ellenton in 2016. Hayley is aided by the nurses on ward 30 and The Early Pregnancy Unit at Hull Royal infirmary.
You can only imagine what the girls have to deal with on a daily basis, Failed pregnancies for many reasons and the heartache of the families.
Memory boxes are provided by the nurses with many items including a bespoke "Forget Me Not" pendent designed exclusively by jeweler designer Kate Hunter.
This is all provided by fundraising
