Our dad Jeff Williams (aka Bungy) former serving Royal Marine (WO2-42 commando) has had a rough time of it lately. In August this year he was diagnosed with throat cancer which he has been battling valiantly with the strength he has always shown us. To say the treatment has been harsh on his body would be the understatement of the year! Dad is slowly starting to feel a little better every day since his treatment has finished. After a recent visit to dad's consultant it was suggested that a small break somewhere warm in January would help lift his spirits and help his body heal quicker.

With that in mind I am asking for your help, many of dad's friends have asked me how they can help, many don't even know he has been ill because of the private person dad is. Jeanette has nursed dad every step of the way with unwavering devotion and needs the break just as much. So I am asking you, his friends and ex collegues on his behalf to make a donation, just a few pounds, to give them enough funds to go away and have a little left over for spending money. We will also be making a small donation to a charity of choice by dad's consultant Dr. Good.

Dad is unaware we are doing this and will probably kill me, so I ask if when sharing this post could you please not tag him.
