Hi All, Its taken a little while for me get my thoughts together, wondering the best way to ask you guys to donate your hard earned cash to two well deserving causes.....with many of you already supporting 100s of charities already-I want to thank you even for clicking the link & hopefully youll choose to support me and my Ben Nevis challenge (think its going to hurt me....in fact it will)

People who know me well, will know I like to set goals, and have done again!! A challenge thats now set in stone!!! To climb Ben Nevis (No punn intended 🙄)

For those of you who may not know to much about Ben Nevis, its the highest mountain in Great Britain standing at 1344 metres high in Scotland. Crazy as it sounds, it's a personal goal for me to reach the top.

With the love & support of family members, friends & strangers, I’m asking if you guys can help me try and make a little difference to the lives of people that are made of much tougher stuff than I am......those suffering or have suffered cancer. Whilst importantly not forgetting relatives/friends that have sadly lost their battle xx Nothing can prepare any family for the unimaginable journey you go through. I do speak from experience. We are very fortunate my daughter who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia is well & has lived her life in such a phenomenal way. You cant help but to be inspired.

Personal challenges in my family life have paved my way to stay positive! Therefore..... Scotland I’m ready to trek the mountain. August this year I’ll head off to climb the mountain, with a smile & thermals I must add.

Why??? Well there’s a young lad from Barry Alex Jones. Alex has Downs Syndrome, he’s recently undergone a second round of chemotherapy having relapsed from Leukaemia. I’d love to help this young man & his family create some wonderful memories on a holiday to America arranged by a charity, by raising some spending money for them.

Also another wonderful cause, is the work carried out by staff at Velindre Hospital Cardiff! I have dear friends who’s family are having care and treatment provided by Velindre Hospital & sadly we have also lost loved ones. There are still no words to express how much they are missed daily.

Its time to say thank you!!! However I really do need your help......your act of kindness however small will not be wasted....thats a promise from me to you!

I’ll keep you posted, as I set up a fundraising page of events. My travel & accommodation expenses to Scotland & the cost of a guide to help me along my journey will be paid by me personally..... so all monies raised go directly to Alex Jones & Velindre Hospital cardiff.

Thanks for the tremendous support already shown. It’s overwhelming!
