Story
Dave Bell Foundation (DBF) are raising money for a bus for Royhill School in Nairobi
As part of the DBF we are working to improve a local school in Nairobi, whilst continuing our funding of Waliers Football Club, Mwimuto.
We want to raise £7,500 so we can co-fund with Royhill School in Zimmerman a bus that will be used by the school Monday to Friday and then used by DBF for Wailers FC away games (which currently costs us around £1,200 a season).
To start the funding I plan to do something I said I would never do...a tandem SKY DIVE! My close friends recently gave me this as a 'gift' but said I didn't have to do it and the challenge was set....so the only way I could convince myself to do it was to raise some money at the same time!
Hopefully this will be a great reason for people to donate to the work we are doing in Kenya! It is booked for Saturday 4th August and I will share my experience with you all when I have done it!

5 years agoWe have raised £2,760 so far of our target and we will continue with our fund raising through 2019. In total the Dave Bell Foundation have raised £8,160 to date thanks to the generosity of so many people, so THANK YOU.

6 years agoSince I have set up this page we have raised £420 from my Skydive and raised £600 when I held a curry night in September, so just over £1,000 raised so far.
