Story

Dean Steele of Steele Rose is embarking on the huge challenge of trekking 100km within 24 hours, by taking part in the South Coast Ultra Challenge 2021.

Dean is raising vital funds for Maggie's Centres in Cheltenham and West London, both of which Steele Rose work closely alongside. Maggie's Centres is a charity that offers nationwide cancer support. Each centre is beautifully designed to deflect from any hospital setting so visitors can feel at home whilst receiving support or participating in many of their activities. They also provide advice for those unsure how cancer will financially affect them and support for their families.

Any donations will be greatly received, and we look forward to updating you on Dean's results!

Due to COVID and other contributing factors, Dean will now be participating in the South Coast Challenge on 4 September 2021. This event is still a continuous run for 100km in 24 hours!

Ultra Challenge have released their new proposed dates for the challenge inline with the Government's recent announcement. The challenge will now, hopefully, be going ahead on 10th/11th July 2021. Thank you for your support so far!

Hello everyone, Thank you for all your kind donations so far! Unfortunately, under the new Government guidance the Challenge is postponed as hospitality will remain closed over the current event date and therefore, no participants/supporters are able to travel or stay on the island. The event organisers are working hard to find a new date after June 21st and we should know this by the end of next week. We will update the date when we know for sure. Thanks again for all your support!
