We are fully committed to ensuring that our children have the very best opportunities in all areas of life, and healthy eating is part of this. Our current lunch provision is of a very high standard providing freshly sourced and prepared meals on a daily basis, but the catering team are working in conditions that are unsustainable. We don't have a proper kitchen facility and are currently serving over 225 meals a day from a tiny kitchen pod that was originally intended to reheat meals for approximately 80 children!

To ensure that we can sustain our healthy lunches, meet environmental health requirements and extend our lunch provision to other groups in the community, it is essential that we improve this as soon as possible. Our plan is then to offer a regular meal to the elderly in the village too, as this provision recently came to an end.
