    Story

So this morning we heard very sad news on the sudden death of a popular man Mr Derren Green well known to many as Mr Green at Amersham School and a very well liked teacher by many students over the years.

To my family he was a great guy... always happy and up for a pint in the pub as well as a fantastic father to his children and always a very supportive husband to his wife.

Our eldest children have grown up together since we moved to Great Missenden and will be moving up to secondary school together next week.

My aim is to help support the family through the next few weeks as it will be such a strain not only emotionally but financially as well. So any donation will be very gratefully received at this difficult time.

We have between us raised ยฃ900. Thank you so much for your kindness and words of support to the family. Can we have one last push and share with friends and family so hopefully we can hit target before Derren is laid to rest on Friday. So much application to you all ๐Ÿ’š

This picture of Mr Green was shared by a student. I'm so completely overwhelmed by the kind words and very generous donations given. All messages will be passed onto his wife xxx Please keep sharing and caring ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š

So sorry to hear such sad news. Derren was a kind and friendly colleague - a real gentleman popular with pupils and staff alike. He will be greatly missed. With deepest sympathy to his family.

I work at Amersham school & usually walked into work with him from the parking lot everyday. He loved to talk to me about American politics and USA cooking shows. I will miss my daily chat with him

I worked with Derren at Amersham .. the kindest most gentle and spiritual man .. an utter joy with a wicked sense of humour .. he called himself Boris for his shambolic resemblance to BOJO ..a joy!
