Story
It came to our attention earlier this month that the children's memorial bench at the top of St. Benedicts church yard has had to be removed due to vandalism. We were so sorry to hear of this. Purely coincindental, one of the children had their 25th anniversary at this time. We at Taylors Greengrocers & Florist have started a fundraiser towards helping to buy another one in their memory. We shall be coming up with ideas over the coming weeks so please look out for us and help this cause if you can. We also hold a donation box too for anyone who quite simply would like to help in this way. If anyone else would like to join in please feel free to get in touch and we can all work together.😀

WOW.!!!!!!!! A massive final thank you to everyone for all your support in every which way you have helped. We are able to pay for the Childrens Memorial Bench @ £1,213.00, then including a match donation from somewhere in Wombourne, Wings & Highflyers will each receive a total of £826.17 FINAL PHOTOS WILL FOLLOW AT A LATER DATE WHEN THE BENCH HAS BEEN INSTALLED IN APRIL

8 years agoWe would like to say a massive thank you to all concerned with our fundraiser. We are right on target.....Have had a more definite quote for the cost of a bench hence changing the target but we are almost there still. Will post the estimate and proposal of what to have when we have spoken again to Rev Paul Brown.This picture is the proposed style of the new bench. Hope you all like it.......
