My name is Debbie and following requests from other kind people on several Skiathos Facebook pages we have come together with this emergency appeal to help the stray cats in Skiathos that Skiathos Cat welfare and other volunteers are struggling to feed during this awful winter weather, something not seen in Skiathos for a few years.
Most of the roads are only accessible if you have a 4x4, many pipes are frozen so there is no running water.
Winter in Skiathos is really hard during mild winters at the moment it is heart breaking with all the stray and street animals needing food and care.
Your very kind donations will be used for an emergency food order for the volunteers to get as much food out to as many stray cats as possible. We are very worried that there will be a lot of sick cats once this weather changes we hope to give them the best chance possible to prevent that.
