My name is Laura, I am 11 years old and have been dancing since the age of 5 and compete in Championships all over the UK and Ireland.

My biggest achievements are wining the Southern Regional Oireachtas 2018, 3rd in the Scottish Nationals and coming 8th at the Great Britain Championships 2018 and re-qualifying for the World Championships in North Carolina, USA in April 2019.

I also placed 17th in the All Ireland's in Killarney last year, this is the biggest competition after the worlds.

After the excitement of qualifying last year, I was completely heartbroken to discover that I was unable to compete due to association with judges. This competition was held in Glasgow meaning the cost would have been achievable for my parents. I cannot express the feeling of utter devastation when I was told this news and I really don't want to miss out again on another world Championship after all my hard work to qualify.

Dancing is my life and passion, I train very hard 5 days a week, so if you could donate any amount to help me, it would be appreciated.
