A year ago my son Harry was diagnosed with a heart condition called wolff parkinson white syndrome which caused several episodes of supraventricular tachycardia. We were lucky the condition only showed up a few times , but even with ECG's it was well hidden and could have been this way for years. Harry was active footballer for his local team , but once diagnosed he had to stop all sport / activities.
Thanks to the amazing doctors at Alder Hey they performed keyhole surgery and fingers crossed the operation was a success. Harry is back to his football mad self now .

So I am raising money for a defibrillator for his team that will be taken to all games and be made available for all players on both teams.

For whatever reason .. mainly stupid ones I have chosen to ride from St Helens to Southport and back , not a great distance in the run of things unless you're a little overweight and the back end of 45. The ride will be on July 7th 2018.
