On the 2nd of December, Lancaster University Running Club are hosting the Lancaster Santa Dash with all proceeds going to Defying Dementia Student Society.

Defying Dementia is a campaign founded at Lancaster University; to support research into drugs and development relating to dementia and other neurodegenerative diseases. Defying `Dementia Student Society works to support this campaign by hosting various fundraising events. Another of our aims is to make a more Dementia friendly campus by offering Dementia Friends sessions in conjunction with the Alzheimer’s Society.

Even as little as £5 can make a significant difference to the work being done by Defying Dementia.
