Story
We are a group of young people from NCS who are fundraising money for Ellesmere Care Home in Kensington and Chelsea. Ellesmere cares for a range if elderly people but majority of the residents suffer from dementia. The elderly residents got about 1.2 visits a year on average and even less from non-familial memembers.
After spending some time with the residents team Jack when we're able to connect with them and bond with them through the use of Music and games.
Team Jackman then created the campaign "Dementia. Don't Forget It".The aim of this camp is to raise awareness of dementia and of the amount of elderly people who suffer from it within our community.
We created Elevating Ellesmere which is a fun day for the residents and the family that they don't often get to see.
However to do this we need sponsors.
O n Saturday the 5th of August in all 12 memeberss of Jackman will be taking part in a 10km walk and we intend to raise £10 minimum.
This page is to sponsor us so that we can purchase the necessities for Elevating Ellesmere.
Any leftover funds will be used to help by the Tube at back to help balance me new facilities with James Music and Arts and Crafts.
