Earlier this year my best friend Laura was diagnosed with breast cancer and was about to start treatment when she was told that it had also spread to her lymph glands and spine. For the last six months Laura has been using a combination of complimentary healing treatments and therapies that are available in the UK and further afield.

Unfortunately, these treatments and therapies aren't available on the NHS and cost loads of money.

On 18th August Mark and I will embark on a fundraising adventure to raise money to help pay for some of Laura's complimentary treatment and therapies. In honour of Laura's Scottish heritage and her ambition to run up Scottish moutains, we will, over 7 days, hike up Ben More (Mull), the Cuillins (Skye), Clisham (outer Hebrides) and Ben Nevis. If you don't think that's enough then you could also add any other challenges (fun ones...not other mountains :) to our adventure and we'll document them to share with you as part of our journey....
