We offer a forever loving home to all sorts of poultry and other animals that people up here in the Highlands can no longer look after because they are moving away from the area, because of illness or because their circumstances change which often very sadly means they have to give up their animals.

To date we have given homes to dozens of hens and cockerels, 2 splendid bronze turkeys, 7 great Indian Runner ducks, 8 lovely guinea fowl, 3 quail, a sheep and 2 gorgeous donkeys.

Unfortunately, recent high winds caused quite a bit of damage to the barn roof which is home to the animals.

We are hoping to raise funds to have the repairs carried out as soon as possible to keep all its residents safe, warm and dry. The cost of the work to make good the roof is expected to be over £2000 which would be hard for us to find on our own.

We pay for everything needed on a daily basis to take care of the animals ourselves with many kind donations of feed, rugs and grooming equipment from the people who no longer have any use for them, but finding a lump sum would be extremely hard.

With the January forecast promising a really cold spell, we and all the animals would be incredibly grateful for any help anyone would be able to offer.
