Story
The Jo Cox Way is a five-day, 258-mile bike ride in memory of Jo Cox MP, returning for its second year to celebrate Jo’s life, her beliefs and all the good work that goes on up and down the UK. Thirty cyclists will be setting off on Wednesday 26 July in Jo’s Batley and Spen constituency and riding towards London, finishing at the Houses of Parliament on Sunday 30 July.
On Thursday 27 July 2017 members and supporters of Derbyshire Dales Labour Party will be joining Day 2 of the ride on the 64.7 miles journey from Birchover to Market Bosworth
Please come and pedal alongside us for part of the route and show your support by sponsoring us for Labour Party Campaign Funds cheering the cyclists on their way.
“Jo worked all her life to make a difference in the world and when Jo died, the country was united in shock and grief. It made everyone stop, think and reassess what was important – and that was, of course, those same things that Jo campaigned for throughout her career. The Jo Cox Way is our tribute to her life, her beliefs and all the good work that goes on up and down the UK in our villages, towns and cities.”
