Story
Overnight on 1st/2nd July someone tried to steal the ATM at Desford Express and Post Office. They failed but they managed to cause a lot of damage to the home of the people living above the shop. It must have been terrifying for the family.
We would like to raise some money for them to help with repairs and to replace items lost or damaged.
Above all this is a way for the community to show we care.

5 years agoWow! £3,900 raised for the lovely family who live at the shop and post office. They are incredibly grateful, not just for the donations but also for all the kind wishes and offers of help. They are looking forward to reopening on the 4th December. Thank you everyone for your amazing support and generosity.
